That hour of the day you can fill your deprived stomach, socialize with their friends, catch up on homework, study for that really big test you forgot was tomorrow, fix your makeup, comfort a friend struggling to get over a break-up, blah, blah, who knows! Well, everybody has to eat.
I need food. Plain. Simple. But what can i eat? i wont eat cafeteria food because
a) too many students in my school eating at one time
b) its known to be terrible and i dont trust it
and c) why buy when i can bring?
sooo… what can i bring?
well, i am not really a sandwich person, so those are out, and most people would say “whaaat? thats all you CAN bring!!!” FALSE my friends, FALSE!
okay sooo i have come up with a list of what i can bring for lunches (a lot of it is just stuff to cook the night before or, when it is made for dinner, just make more of it and either freeze it or leave it in the fridge), and little things that i can bring to go along with it all (two seperate lists, just mix and match for your own pleasure)
what can i bring for lunch?:
- leftovers
-fried rice
-noodles
(i think you can see my love for chinese and japanese food)
-bagel
-pasta
-salad (fruit salad, and/or oriental chicken (oh wow more chinese food))
-cavatelli (a form of pasta my mom cooks with broccoli and/or garlic)
- beef or chicken kabobs found in a cookbook that if taken off a skewer and packed with fruit, or rice, or some other side dish, can be made into a salad
etc. to go with anything from above:
-fruit snacks
-granola bar
-fruit: banana, peaches, raspberries
-chips
-pretzels
-cereal
-crackers
-orange juice
-v8 fusion
-other forms of fruit juice
-hawaiian punch
-iced tea
-water
i hope you found my food cravings/shopping list/ food helpful!
