OMG

I FINALLY GOT MY SCHEDULE!!!!!! YAY :D :D :D

sooooooooo I have quite a few friends in most of my classes (and my older brother is in the same gym class as me >:D )

oh oh oh oh! AND I have photographic imaging, which was THE largest reason I wanted my schedule. ( I like photography...)

Gym Lockers

Ick. I hate gym lockers. oh well.

What i will be keeping in my gym locker at all times:

HAIR TIES-I almost always wear my hair up anyway, but I am training myself to ear it down because my friends always steal my hair ties :’(

socks- I like wearing flip flops and shoes and whatever so I don’t always wear socks. once I went through gym without a pair of socks, and it was painful.

tampons- they are needed

deodorant- oh this is MAJOR I cant go around the rest of the day smelling like sweat, its disgusting

Hand sanitizer- its not needed but i have it and hey, its good to have

Hair clips- i have side bangs and i like to clip them back so they aren’t in my face

Mirror- trying to use the few mirrors actually in the locker room is a pain, so im just going to bring my own, so much easier!

Lotion- i dont use it every single class but, hey, ya never know

etc.- i am not sure yet

Lunch.

That hour of the day you can fill your deprived stomach, socialize with their friends, catch up on homework, study for that really big test you forgot was tomorrow, fix your makeup, comfort a friend struggling to get over a break-up, blah, blah, who knows! Well, everybody has to eat.

I need food. Plain. Simple. But what can i eat? i wont eat cafeteria food because

a) too many students in my school eating at one time

b) its known to be terrible and i dont trust it

and c) why buy when i can bring?

sooo… what can i bring?

well, i am not really a sandwich person, so those are out, and most people would say “whaaat? thats all you CAN bring!!!” FALSE my friends, FALSE!

okay sooo i have come up with a list of what i can bring for lunches (a lot of it is just stuff to cook the night before or, when it is made for dinner, just make more of it and either freeze it or leave it in the fridge), and little things that i can bring to go along with it all (two seperate lists, just mix and match for your own pleasure)

what can i bring for lunch?:

- leftovers

-fried rice

-noodles

(i think you can see my love for chinese and japanese food)

-bagel

-pasta

-salad (fruit salad, and/or oriental chicken (oh wow more chinese food))

-cavatelli (a form of pasta my mom cooks with broccoli and/or garlic)

- beef or chicken kabobs found in a cookbook that if taken off a skewer and packed with fruit, or rice, or some other side dish, can be made into a salad

etc. to go with anything from above:

-fruit snacks

-granola bar

-fruit: banana, peaches, raspberries

-chips

-pretzels

-cereal

-crackers

-orange juice

-v8 fusion

-other forms of fruit juice

-hawaiian punch

-iced tea

-water

i hope you found my food cravings/shopping list/ food helpful!

Make School Fun?

Okay so i spend a bit of time on Yahoo Answers and one of the most common questions is “Why is school so boring?” otherwise “how can i make school fun?”

Well, its how you make it out to be, if you want school to be fun, and you try seeing all the fun things about it, your experience will be more, well, fun. If you just wonder why it is so boring all the time and focus on all the negative aspect of it, you will just find all the boring aspects of school.

If you are one of those people who are having difficulty finding that fun, here are a few ways you can MAKE it fun, or at least get you through the year.

Ick, Mondays. Everybody hates them. They are always the hardest to get through. So, why not wear your favorite outfit or t-shirt? or just dress really comfortably? (just don’t fall asleep) You could also pack a favorite lunch, or treat? If you buy lunch, you could still just bring a cookie or something, just because.

If you study after school, try and get some friends to study together. You don’t need to be in the same classes, just all lounge around the same room with a few snacks, but concentrate on the studying.

If you are finding it unusually difficult to get it through a certain week, plan something on the weekend so you have something to look forward to and to keep you going.

Join a club or activity that interests you. Everyone tends to have more fun that way, but don’t join because your mom suggested it or just because, make sure you LIKE it. If you don’t like one, go find another, there is bound to be atleast one in your school that you will like.

Good luck! I hope you have fun this school year!

Summer Ends?!

Everyone does it. They do nothing but sleep till noon all summer, and then when those first school papers come rolling in, so does the reality that summer must come to an end. “Oh. Snap. I only have two weeks of summer left, and I did NOTHING!!!” Everybody fills their last two weeks of summer to the brim so that nothing else could be fit in, and you can barely sleep. My case? Its my mom. These last two weeks she wants to:

-go to the beach at least twice

- stay a night at the beach

-go to my cousins

-go to NYC for a night

- Spend every waking moment at the pool

We already have (this week)-

-had our cousins sleep over

-went to Dorney

We have to-

-go to the doctor

-get all our school supplies

-go to orientation

- other freshmen requirements

-etc.

Wish me luck.

Picture Day!

Well, yesterday was picture day! Why picture day is two weeks before school starts, I dont know. (but it was only freshmen, i think seniors already took theirs, and when sophomores and juniors take theirs, i have no idea, and at the moment, I don't really care)
Through all of the hustle and bustle of getting up early, showering and attempting (and failing) at drying my hair and trying to make it cooperate, I realized, I hate picture day. I never wear my hair down, and drying my hair made the ends all frizzy, the whole left side of my head stuck out awkwardly, and frankly, I wished my mom would have let me leave it wet.
Well, we get there, go all the way to the library to get pictures done, and they sit me down. The picture guy keeps telling me to move my side bangs from in front of my face. They took the picture, apparently my hair made shadows on my face, so we took it again. Nope. So, his assistant came and arranged my hair. We tried it again. Nope. So she held my hair to the side, counted One, Two, and on three she let go and leapt out of the frame. But my hair was too fast for her. We ended up tucking it behind my ear, and most likely making it look all awkward. When I went back to my mom and now my brother, up from Cross Country practice (he is now a Junior) all I said was "They were having issues with my hair..."

Sooo, I made a blog

Hello!
This blog will be documenting my life through all of high school, all the way from the few hectic weeks before my freshmen year (now) all the way through, to graduation (I hope). This blog will be full of tips that I find, or make up, my thoughts, my preparations, and pretty much just my life from my locker ;)
