Dry-erase boards
why does everybody tell me to put a dry erase board in my locker?
a) you never stop to stare at your door when you are rushing to a class or your bus
b) even if you did you wouldn’t have time to write on it
c) even if you did, you would not stop, grab a marker and write something on it, and remember to check to see what you wrote on it earlier
d) it would be a scribble. it’d probably look like a hurricane on a weather forecast
so basically, they are useless and take up space
Lockers
That one little sliver of space that you can call your own for 180 days of your life. For some people, Its their home away from home. For some people, it just sits there and collects dust. Me? I prefer the first option. It makes things WAAAAAAy easier.
What I have and/or must keep in my locker:
a locker shelf thing that hopefully fits
an organizer
3 pencil holders
lots of writing utensils, pencils and pens ALWAYS get lost, so i have about 36 pencils that can stay in my locker, and i need more than 8 pens…
HAIR TIES, for those days when I just cant stand my hair (and my friends probably stole my first one)
bobby pins
hair clips
post-it notes
chap stick, i need it in winter…
$, not much, but still, just in case
extra notebook
band-aids, in case of an emergency
hand sanitizer
deodorant
lotion
a hair bush
tampons and pads, they are needed
crayons, trust me
and my coloring book, again, trust me. there is a lot of drama in middle school and high school, and sometimes, people just cant take it. If one of your friends, or you, or just a complete stranger is struggling through something like stress or a break-up, take them over to your locker during lunch or free period and scribble your troubles away.
